Before you can make this work you will need to add the excel reference library.

Method:

(1) Click Tools / Macro / Visual Basic Editor. (This will open the code editor)

(2) Click Tools / References then scroll down the list of references and  put a tick in the box for Excel 9.0 Object Library.

Tip!!!

These access to excel spreadsheet commands are quite dynamic. If you are playing around with this code and your Excel goes weird and wont open/close, flashes on/off etc.  Try logging off Windows and logging back on again.
